Chili

Did you know that I am probably going to be a chef when I grow up? Yesterday my Mom and I made chili. My favorite part of making chili is browning the meat and putting in the spices.
We normally eat our chili with cheese straws which are like cheesy bread sticks with pepper flakes. This time we had flour tortillas and cheese quesedillas with our chili. Sometimes we make frito pie with it too. I hope you will try this recipe and let me know if you like it.
Please comment and show me a picture of your chili and how you make it.
Talk to you in my next post,
Andrew

Veterans day

I accidentally forgot to post about Veterans  day but ..... I'll  tell you about it .It was really fun. We put flags on Veterans' graves and took old flags off & put new ones on if they already had a flag but it was tattered. Afterwards, we ate hot dogs and chili at the VFW Hall with my Clover Kid 4-H group.

  • Veterans Day is celebrated on November 11.
  • It is a federal holiday to honor those who have served in the military known as veterans.
  • Why is it celebrated on the 11th? Because it celebrates the end of fighting in WW1.
  • Veterans Day is also known as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day.
