I accidentally forgot to post about Veterans day but ..... I'll tell you about it .It was really fun. We put flags on Veterans' graves and took old flags off & put new ones on if they already had a flag but it was tattered. Afterwards, we ate hot dogs and chili at the VFW Hall with my Clover Kid 4-H group.
- Veterans Day is celebrated on November 11.
- It is a federal holiday to honor those who have served in the military known as veterans.
- Why is it celebrated on the 11th? Because it celebrates the end of fighting in WW1.
- Veterans Day is also known as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day.
